Connie has practiced real estate, transactional, and general business law for over 40 years. Her practice has primarily focused on the energy industry, supporting public utilities and independent power producers in all areas of real estate related to power production, transmission and delivery, including property acquisition and development; major infrastructure improvement projects; acquisition and modification of easements; encroachments onto fee-owned and restricted easement property; licensing, including antennae licenses; railroad crossing and license agreements; asset operations and management matters; and Maryland electric franchise law issues.
Connie's work experience prior to joining Wire Gill LLP includes work as in-house attorney with Exelon Corporation and its subsidiary Baltimore Gas and Electric Company, as a partner at the Alexandria boutique real estate law firm then known as Hart, Gibbs, Pierce & Karp, PC, and as an associate at a national law firm.
